In 1925 two hikers discovered the body of an unidentified young woman on the mountain between Gordon and Heckshersville and the case was never solved. Legend has it that young woman, also known as the “Lady in White” haunts the area looking for her murder. She has been known to cause cars to shut off and the headlights to go dim. This design was created to celebrate one of Schuylkill County’s most well known ghost stories. It features a sign for the “Gordon Mountain Dead and Breakfast” with the tagline “Car Trouble? Just Spend the night”
